Radiologic Technology
The Radiologic Technologist program provides students the knowledge and skills to perform the duties required for entry-level employment in the field. Radiologic Technologists use ionizing radiation to provide diagnostic radiographic images (x-rays) of tissues, organs, bones and vessels in the body. This position is an important member of the healthcare team, and works closely with physicians to provide patient care. We offer comprehensive, rigorous training in all aspects of radiography, enabling you to obtain the skills you need for an entry-level radiography job. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science degree, and are eligible to sit for the A.R.R.T. national radiographer examination and seek employment as a member of the healthcare team. |
