Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership
Liberty University’s Doctor of Education program provides advanced training for individuals seeking positions in higher education. The program aims to develop competent and effective leaders with a Christian worldview who will model high academic standards and assume a leadership role in the field of education. You will focus on classes specializing in educational leadership, leadership development and best practices. Specialized courses develop the skills necessary to assume a facilitating role in accomplishing the goals and objectives of an education system, whether as teacher, superintendent, principal, college instructor or another academic position requiring strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Three on-campus intensives are required in addition to a final dissertation defense. As a student of this program you may choose a concentration in educational leadership or teaching and learning.
