About Florida International University

With over 48,000 students and over 164,000 alumni, FIU is one of the 25 largest public universities in the United States.

FIU offers more than 180 bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs in fields such as business, engineering, architecture, hospitality, law, and medicine. As one of South Florida's anchor and research institutions, FIU has been locally and globally engaged for more than four decades finding solutions to the most challenging problems of our time.

As the business school for The Americas, we are South Florida's most important business education resource and a recognized leader in business education. As the largest of Florida International University's (FIU) professional schools, we enroll about 6,000 undergraduate and more than 1,000 graduate students annually.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

FIU programs are eligible for financial aid. Financial aid is a source of monetary support in the form of grants, employment and loans for the specific purpose of meeting student's educational costs. Financial Aid funds can be federal, state, institutional or from private sources.

Scholarships and tuition waivers are also available for eligible and select students.

Accreditation

The FIU College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), and is one of only 15 percent of AACSB International member schools throughout the world that have accreditation in both business and accounting.

FIU is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award bachelor’s, master's, and doctoral degrees.

Career Management Services

FIU’s College of Business is home to the Career Management Services office. During the time you are a student and after you graduate as an alumnus, this office is available to help you gain the skills and knowledge to become a competitive force in today’s challenging job market. Services available to you include career advising, resume review, mock interviews, on-campus interviews, company information sessions, and career workshops.
