Colorado Technical University has a Doctor of Management degree program with a concentration in Criminal Justice (DM-CJ) designed to foster leadership skills and encourage the development of those with a professional or educational background in CJ and can be completed in three years.

This program combines mentoring from CTU faculty, action research, and practical projects in order to enable Criminal Justice professionals to learn to become management experts. Doctoral students also have the opportunity to attend Doctoral Symposiums which are intended to give students the opportunity to attend workshops led by subject experts, meet with their student cohort and CTU doctoral staff, discuss challenges, and learn more about research and scholarship.
